Each strand intertwined, we got dressed up to watch the world burn, to a far more luminous and honest shine. The truth of the earth is staring at the sun for too long and then realising that staring at the sun for too long is not enjoyable so you stare at the ground for a little bit, but that's mostly just dirt.

The truth of the earth is looking up from the dirt, foaming at the corners of your mouth, satisfied for you have feasted on nature for 22 years and never once been full, only to look down at flaying flesh and understand she's started to feast on you.

Filling out a k8 questionnaire in an LED lit waiting room for two hours, your eyes contemplating a poster of an almost toxic sunset, the cursive texts reads "Everything strange washes up in Miami", you've never been to Miami, but wonder what the strangest things are; every strange thing you can imagine begins to seem normal with adequate context;

stars, shoes, dental hygiene equipment, a doctors questionnaire and an LED light

Everything has begun to feel ritualistic, you let a few of your friends come over to watch you watch a puddle of dish soap dry on an old family photo, then called them all a comfortable car on a popular rideshare app to their respective homes, you get ready for bed and begin again, braiding your hair in hers, closing the ritual with an emerald ribbon, i will die in you.
